Yondrr is very concerned about maintaining the privacy of children and their parents while at the same time empowering children and allowing them to showcase their creative works.
We collect the child's first name, age at time work was created, email addresses of child, name and email address of parent/guardian, phone number of parent, name of school, state of residence, his or her grade, gender and birth date. Parent/guardian names, email addresses and phone numbers are collected in order to verify parental/guardian permission for posting child(ren)'s work(s). The parent phone number is used for random verification of permission. Information is collected directly from either the parent/guardian or the child.
When work is posted online it includes the child's first name and age. The other information is collected because we may hold contests at the state, school or grade level or may send birthday greetings. Other than the child's original work, first name and age, information is not shared with the public or third parties.
Yondrr does not collect more information than it believes is reasonably necessary for the child to participate in Yondrr.net activities. The parent/guardian can review the child's personal information, can ask to have it deleted and refuse to allow any further collection of work or the child's information by sending an email to privacy@yondrr.com.
